Holiday Chalet at Market Square 2022!

And we’re so happy to be back as vendor-artists the 8th Annual Peoples Gas Holiday Market again this year. The Market will kick off on Friday, November 18th on with Light Up Night on Saturday November 19th and will run through December 23rd, 2022. We at strawberryluna are sharing an adorable & hygge af wooden Chalet (see below) with our friend Worker Bird right Downtown in Market Square. We have so many new handmade holiday gifts and wares like our Pittsburgh Bridges Prints, Tea Towels, PGH Ornaments, Enamel Pins, PGH Mugs and more! All of which are perfect for gift giving for friends, family, and even just for you! Come out and get into the Holiday spirit!

Inspired by the original German Christkindlmarkts (or “Christmas Market”), the Peoples Gas Holiday Market brings a cherished European tradition to Pittsburgh with an international flair, a touch of local charm, and a pinch of sugar, spice, and everything nice. From Friday, November 18th – Thursday, December 22nd drop on by Market Square in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh to see for yourself! As you weave through the Alpine-style wooden chalets, brimming with high quality gifts, you’ll experience a one-of-a-kind holiday shopping experience.

craftinoutlaws_main2016Come join in the fun this Saturday December 10th – We’ll be heading to the fellow Rust Belt gem Columbus this weekend for one day only, as vendors at the fun Craftin’ Outlaws Holiday Show for our 3rd participating year.

Craftin’ Outlaws is back this Saturday for our 11th annual CRAFT FAIR! 100 of the best HANDMADE vendors are ready to invade the Greater Columbus Convention Center on December from Noon – 5pm with FREE ADMISSION! Swag bags will go to the first 100 guests at the door or for your die hard DIYers we still have Early Bird shopping options, which comes with a handmade gift and early access from 11am-12pm! 

productsIn addition to handmade goods by American Makers  you can embrace the spirit of DIY at fun make and take stations. Grab a cocktail or enjoy a beer while you shop and get into the Holiday spirit. A cash bar will be available in the lobby from 11am-5pm. And get your dance on with vinyl being spun by our in house DJ from Wholly Craft.

GIVE BACK with the Columbus Diaper Coalition who’s hosting another DIAPER DRIVE with us. Bring in a new box of diapers and win your way into handmade raffles. Diapers of all sizes are accepted but larger sizes are desperately needed!

HA provides craftspeople and artists working outside mainstream and fine arts sectors with a grassroots, high-visibility venue to sell wares, build community, network and share their artistic practice. Handmade Arcade, founded in 2004, is Pittsburgh’s first and largest independent craft fair. Now in its twelfth year, HA brings young, innovative crafters and progressive do-it-yourself designers to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on December 5, 2015 to sell, their handmade, locally produced, and offbeat wares at a bustling marketplace.

For instance, in our case, when you shop with us, we then also support other small, local businesses. How? We source our materials from US-based and US-manufacturing producers & distributors for our papers (like Domtar Cougar and French Paper), inks ( we use mainly Speedball), screens, squeeges, output films (all from Pittsburgh’s own Tech Support Screenprinting Supplies) and more. We also wholesale our art work to many independent shops (local favorites Wildcard in Lawrenceville and Sapling & Sons in Beaver, PA) around the country who do more of the same and support more small businesses in turn.

This is year is extra special as Handmade Arcade is debuting their first ever publication, a fabulous Coloring Book called “Things Making Things”, designed for all ages (no, really) with the artwork of 10 local artists, including us (eeeeeeee!). The Coloring Books will be available for purchase from the Handmade Arcade Booth as well as participating artists and ALL proceeds benefit upcoming Handmade Arcade Outreach & Education projects.

Handmade Arcade Hooray! This Saturday 12/8 – One Day Only!

The Holidays are here in full effect and so is the amazing Handmade Arcade here in our hometown of Pittsburgh!

Handmade Arcade is our last craft show of the year, and we couldn’t be happier closing out our schedule right here at home. Come join us and over 150+ vendors from all over the country with some of the nation’s best indie artists and crafters selling amazing handmade works for your holiday shopping lists – and don’t forget to pick up something for yourself too. You deserve it!

We’ll be at Booth #154 and we will have lots and lots of our Art Prints, Alphabet Prints, Rock Posters, Lunch Bags, Hand Screen Printed Wine Gift Bags, Wood Art Pieces (super new from our gallery show at Wildcard!) and Test Prints plus more goodies!

Handmade Arcade is Pittsburgh’s first and largest independent art & craft fair and is now in it’s 9th year. Handmade Arcade is FREE to attend and will be at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center Downtown with tons of cool & creative activities for children and adults alike in the Hands-On Handmade section all day too.

The free Holley Trolley that runs in Downtown Pittsburgh will be making regular stops all day at the Convention Center for Handmade Arcade, and free parking will be provided by  most garages (Convention Center garage excluded) and free on-street parking as well.
